2023 Rome National Snowboard
The National is designed for riders who want a versatile, powerful board that handles business in the jump line, the sidecountry or harvesting corduroy. With a directional twin shape, snappy flex profile and the predictable yet versatile Fusion Camber, the National is All Ways Down.
Camber Profile
Fusion Camber – Positive camber through most of the running length with a small amount of rocker just before the contact points.
Flex
Flex Rating – 7/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff)
Shape
Directional Twin – Designed with slightly longer noses than tails, but with both symmetrical sidecuts and symmetrical camber profiles. Directional Twin boards are well-suited for riding switch and all mountain marauding.
Core
Omega Construction – Omegas are the next generation of responsive, ride-anything tech. Made of carbon, the Omegas act as housing built around the HotRods, and are designed to provide additional power and responsiveness.
Carbon HotRods – Thin rods of carbon are milled into the board’s core starting just inside the insert packs and extending into the nose and / or tail.
Twin Single – A single HotRod in the board’s nose and tail; pressable yet poppy.
Laminates
Biax Glass – Fiberglass with two different axes, built to be torsionally more playful and pressable.
Triax Glass – Fiberglass running in three different axes, built for torsional rigidity and added snap.
Impact Plates – Built to lessen impact and dampen chatter, these woven flax plates are built under the board’s insert packs.
Base
SinterSpeed Base – Our fastest sintered base, built for maximum speed and performance.
